The water has risen several feet over the flat sheet of the No. 7 level. The increase is not so rapid as hitherto. The stampers at the company's mill were idle this morning, but the 5 berdans are employed grinding up the blanketings which accumulated during thr crushing of the rich Btuff. They ore turning put very well. A retorting of the amalgam obtained therefrom and from the recent trial crushings will take plfj* next week, when it is expectejt close on lOOozs of gold will be obtained. 'The company will resume crushing from the upper levels shortly, and with tribulers' »4uff it is hoped the battery will be kept constantly employed. The tributers, Cameron and party (late Wilson and party) will be crushing next week probably. Wiogate and party crushed 351b* of specimen stone yesterday for the yield of 16ozs 17dwts gold.
