THIS DAT. (Before Colonel Eraser, E.M.) •WANDERING ANIMALS. John Farrell pleaded guilty to allowing two cows to wander at large. " Defendant's wife appeared and pleaded guilty for her husband, who wai unwell. After hearing the evidence, defendant was fined 5s and costs. James Sampson was charged with unlawfully allowing a horse to wander at large; Defendant said the horse did not belong to him but to Mr Brodie. He had it to look after. There was no appearance of either party, therefore the case was struck out.
