TAURANGA.
Wednesday. ! Thomas Williams, journeyman tailor, of Wellington, lately secretary of the Foresters' Lodge, was arrested today on a charge of embezzling the funds of the order. It appears that he bolted away as soon as he got a hint that his defalcations had been discovered. He was arrested on warrant issued at Wellington.
