DUNEDIN.
Wednesday. The Mayor received a letter from the Lord Provost of Glasgow requesting bis co-operation towards raising money for the City of Glasgow Bank Belief Fund. At the Synod to-day a long overture made in favour of Bible reading in schools was adopted. Several new cases have been erected in the Dunedin Museum for fishes and reptiles.
