This day. The 36th report and balance sheet was presented at a meeting of the shareholders of the New Zealand Insurance Company to.day. After making provision for all ascertained losses to date, and carrying £5000 to reserve fund, which now stands at £40,CD0, there remains the sum of £19,283 Is lid available for division, which the directors propose to appropriate by payment of a dividend at the rate of 15 per cent., £16,000. Balance carried forward, £4283.
