TINDER the distinguished patronage of U His Majesty the King of Italy, at Borne, cccording to communication received from the Consul-General for Italy, at Melbourne, upon instructions from the Minister for Foreign Affairs, dated 14th March, 1878. Dr Cruikshank, Health Officer for the City of Sandhurst, certifies to the extract being the most reliable remedy for external inflammation, bronchitis, diphtheria, affections of the lungs, chest, nil pains of rheumatic nature, neuralgia, Ac.; all swellitgs, bruises, sprains, wounds, disorder of the bowels diarrhoea, &c. Epitome of declaration made before M. Cohen Esq., J.P., at Ranohurst, October, 1877.—The son of Mr Eaabe was hurt with an axe on the knee. After nine weeks' medical treatment it was declared necessaiy by Dr. Moegillivray to amputate the injured limb. At that juncture the extract was applied, and the wound speedily cured w thout amputation. - The daughter of Mr Junghenn, suffering from disease of the bune, as pronounced by Drs Atkinson and Bojd, was cured just aB speedily. Cures of whooping cough, very severe colds, croup, bronchitis, diphtheria, eararhe, pains in the head (neuralgia,) inflammation of the eyes arid that of a severely injured toot; others of bad legs, wound on the aim wish enormous swelling, of severe burises and spraired ai>kle, (H. Brown,) in which case eight months' medical advice was of no avail, ore reported by the Donald Tiroes^Neweastle Morning Herald, Cooktown Courier, Yorke's PeninouJa Advertiser and others. The extract is proved to be curative in disorders of the urinwry organs. It is the surest curative agent and preventative of contagion in scarlet, typhoid and intermittent* fever.
