Case brandy, thirty-three and six; New Zealand wheat, none here ; oats, four and fourpence; the rest unchanged. Melbottbne, Friday. The Australians, in their first innings, made 253. A. Bannerman made 73 after very fine play; leaving the Englishmen one hundred and forty to save one innings. They have six wickets down for one hundred and three. Lord Harris made thirty-six. The police have captured five of the sympathisers of the Kellys, but not the principals. This day. Australian eleven, first innings, 253; English, second innings, one hundred and three for six wickets. There is a rumour of the capture of one of the Kelly gang, but nothing certain. The Tanjore has arrived.

Sydney, Friday. The seamen's strike has been settled through Mr Lockhead. The terms which hare been arranged are, that all the men who have been on strike will, as far as may be practicable, return to the positions which they formerly occupied. Ship's discharges will be given where necessary.
