AUCKLAND.
This day.
Henry Niccol, junior, North Shore, was brought up to the Court this morning, charged with stealing forty pounds from Adams, a publican. The case was remanded for a week. Bail refused.
A man named Collins fell off a train returning from the races last night. He fell from a carriage, and was picked up insensible. He was subsequently conveyed to Auckland, and attended to by Dr J£enderdine. He received a severe scalp wound and other injuries.
The cricket match Taranaki v. United Club has just commenced.
