Excursions, &c.
The p.s. Euby, Capt. Moore, chartered by Mr W. B. Baker, conveyed a large number of excursionists to Smith's farm, Miranda, yesterday. The little steamer made a rapid run over. The excursionists passed a very pleasant day, the settlers sad natives having prepared a programme of horse racing, Ac, which was very successfully carried out. The Te Aroha also made an excursion to Ohineinuri. A number of. townspeople passed the day at Puriri, where pedestrian sports were held in a paddock kindly lent by Mr Say for that purpose.
