Arrived: Ship Gladlys, from London, 119 days out. One sailor was drowned during the voyage. The schooner Edith, which has arrived from the South Sea Islands, reports the wreck of the schooner Talisman at Aitutake, bound to Auckland with a cargo of pearl shell and copra. All hands were saved. The vessel is insured for £500 each in the Batavia, the Victoria, and the Union. The cargo is insured in the South British for £2,000; half reinsured in other offices.
