International Circus.
The reduction in the price of admission had the effect of drawing a good attendance at the circus last night, and the performance was gone through with great spirit, the equestrian acts, vaulting, aero* batic and other feats being well sustained. The long programme concluded with the equestrian drama of "Dick Turpin'sßide to York,'- and it alone was worth the money. The character of the highwayman was taken by Mr Hut chins, and the low comedy part of Sammy by Mr Benhamo. Of course the chief interest in this piece is centred "n the death of Turpin's mare Bonny Black Bei3, and the way it was done lost ni^hi showed the perfection of training, the little mare remaining perfectly still fiom the time of her falling down and simulating death until Bhe was carried out on the shoulders of a number of men and resuscitated. The whole performance . was evidently much enjoyed, but the absence of programmes precludes us from noticing in detail the artists whose feats might call for special mention.
