TOOKEY TRIBUTE.
Last night a haul. of 1601 bi of fair specimens and picked stone was obtained from the drive on the lode at Waiotahi' No. 2 leTel. This lode is three feet thick ■ ■ in the face, and is heavily charged with - gold-accompanying minerals, and colors pf C gold are also to be seen in the lode. It ig supposed to be the continuation of the Waiotahi No. 5 lode. That reef ran oat in the Waiotahi ground before' the 1 boon- '*» dary was reached, but a'bunch of stringers were followed to the boundary. In the Tookey ground the solid quarts again made, and after driving on it 200 " feet, with only moderate prospects, has:^ at last come on'indications that the reef, will remunerate well. There is a long stretch of it .in the Tookey ground.'"'''
