FTNDER the distinguished patronage of <U His Mbjesly the King of Italy, at Rome, according to communication received from the Consul-General for Italy, at Melbourne, upon instructions irora the Minister for Foreign Affairs, dated 14th March, 1878, Dr Cruik shank, Health Officer for the City of Pnndhurst, certifies to"!lie extract being the most reliable remedy for external inflammation, tbronchitis, diphtheria, affections of the lungs, chest, all pains of rheumatic nature, neuralpio, &c.;" all swellirgs, bruises, sprainß, ■wounds, disorder of the bowels, diarrhoea, &o. Epitome of declaration made before M. Cohen Esq., J.P., at Sandhurst, October, 1877.— The son of Mr Raabe was hurt with an axo on the knee. After nine weeks' medical treatment it was declared Deceesary by Dr. Maegillivray to amputate the injured limb. At that juncture the extract was applied, and the wound speedily cured w.thout ampu* ation. The daughter of Mr Junghena, suffering from disease of the bone, as pronounced by Drs Atkinson and Boyd, was cured just as speedily; Cures of whooping cough, very severo colds, croup, bronchitis, diphtheria, earache, pains in the head (neuralgia,) inflammation of the eyes, and that of a severely injured (oot; others of bad legs, wound on the arm with enormous swelling, of severe buriees „ and sprained arikle, (H.
