Monday. ; ' It was unanimously resolved at a public
meeting this afternoon to create a scholarship, in connection with the New Zealand University, as a memorial to the late Sir John Richardson. A committee was appointed, who will correspond with the centres of population with a view of raising funds for establishing such scholarship. .■ ■■
