Saturday. Mr Wood, M.H.8., held a meeting at

Wyndham, Mataura East, and Invercargill, which were well attended, and a,vote of confidence was unanimously passed at each. A banquet was given here last night to the Southland Representatives— Messrs Wood, Joyce, Hodgkinson, and Feldwick. It was a great success. The prices of oats for good to ordinary, 3s 9d to 3s 7d; good milling, 3s 9d to 4s. The market is bare.
