Court to : day, Mr Melluh directed Inspector Hickson to inquire into the condition of the Portuguese castaway sailors, with a view, if necessary, of assisting them from the poor-box. They have been engaged by the captain of the ship Bangitikei, which rescued them, and who. will deliver them,over to .the Portuguese Consul in Xtondbn.
