MOANATAIRI.
The manager sent no report to Auckland this week, in consequence of there being ft dearth of anything worth reporting. The crushing it proceeding with 20 head of stampers, but shews no change. In the rise over tunnel level, which it now. up 80 feet, the manager has started opening out a level for the purpose of cutting the Point Ruasell lode. This level has now been extended 12 feet, and the .manager is hourly expected to common the reef. A strong body of water has recently been cut in the level, and the water in the winze having gone down 12 feet, it ii evident the water has at last been tapped. The bottom of the winze is 90 feet above the rise, and there is still 50 feet of water in the winze. Baling will be commenced shortly. In the engine shaft sinking for the chamber is in progress, and opening out will take place shortly. Nothing fresh has occurred in any other part of the mice. Bead and party commenced crashing a 30 ton paroel this, morning, and Green and party have also a parcel going through the mill. >
