Patrick Connell was smashed to atoms on the Kyneton railway, bis companion, William Hone, narrowly escaping. Two lads named Evans were drowned at Stawell.
The Kelljs (Mansfield bushrangers) are supposed to be lurking in the Eats Castle Ranges near Maigo creek. The police and settlers are in hot pursuit. Floods in tbe Murray present the bushrangers crossing, and their capture ii expected.
