The jury brought in a verdict accordingly, : and strongly censured the husband for neglect. The coroner paid it was the most mournful case he had ever heard, and added that the magistrate would probably take the matter up. At the Diocesan Synod this afternoon a select committee was appointed to consider what steps should be taken to establish a memorial to Bishop Selwyn. The various speakers paid a high tribute of respect and esteem to the memory of the late Bishop.
