General Notices SANDEII AND SONS' Eucalypti Extract. |*TNDER the distinguished patronage of U His Majesty the King of Italy, afc Rome, according to comraunicution received from the Conßul-G-eneral for Italy, at Melbourne, upon instructions from the Minister for Foreign Affairs, dated 14th March, 1878 Dr Cruikshank, Health Officer for the City of Sandhurst, certifies to tlie extract being the most reliable remedy for external inflammation, bronchitis, diphtheria, affections of the lungs, chest, all pains of rheumatic nature, neuralgia, &c.; all swellings, bruises, apratns, wounds, disorder of the bowels, diarrhoea, &c. JEpirotne of declaration made before M. Cohen Ksq.,; J.P., at Sandhurst, October, 1877.—The aon of Mr Baabe was hurt with an axe on the knee. After nine weeks' medical treatment it was declared necessary by Dr. Mncgillivray to amputate the :injured limb.; At that juncture the extract was applied, and ' the wound speedily cured w thout amputation. i. The daughter/of Mr suffering from disease of the bone, as pronounced by Dra Atkinson and Boyd, was cured just as speedily. Oureß of whooping cough, very severe colds, croup, bronchitis, diphtheria, earache, pains in the head (neuralgia,) inflammation of the eyes, and that of injured loot ; others of bad legs, wound on the arm with enormous swelling, of severe buriaes and sprained ankle, (H. Brown,) in which case eight months' medical advice was of. no avail, are reported by the Donald Times, Newcastle Morning Herald, Cooktown Courier, Jorke'u Peninsula Advertiser and others. The extract is proved to be curative in disorders of the urinary organs. It is the surest curative agent and preventative of contagion in scarlet,: typhoid and intermittent fever.
