Epitome of declaration made before M. Cohen Esq., J.P., at Sandhurst, October, 1877.—The son of Mr Eaabe was hurt with an axe on the knee. After nine /weeks' mcdi- / cal treatment it was declared Decesßary by Dr. Macgillivray to amputate the injured limb. At that juncture the extract was applied, and the wound speedily cured without amputation. ' * . - . ! The daughter of Mr Junghenn, suffering from disease of the bone, as pronounced by Drs Atkinson and Boyd, wae cured just as speedily. Cures of whooping cough, very, severe colds, croup, bronchitis, diphtheria, earache, pains in the head (neuralgia,) inflammation of the eyes, and that of a severely injured toot ; others of bad legs, wound on; the arm with enormous swelling, of severe buriies and epraiued ankle, (H. Brown,) inwhich oase eight months' medical advice was of no avail, are reported by the Donald Timeß, Newcastle Morning Herald, Coqktown Courier, Yorke's Peninsula Advertiser and others. The extract is proved to be curative in disorders of the urinary organs. It is the surest curative agent and preventative of contagion in scarlet, typhoid and intermittent fever.
