Last night Graham and party broke into the reef in the east drive «n the hanging wall of the lode, and took out some splendid stone. As this is on the eastern side of the " heave "I have before referred to, besides the intrinsic value of the stone taken oat, this discovery is of some importance as it proves that the, " heave has no deteriorating effect on the value of the lode, as is not infrequently the case. Good gold has thus been obtained on both sides of the "heave." The country continues unchanged.
