The post officehere ,:was broken into last night and a cash box and between £60 and £70 stolen. The cash-box had not been left in the safe. At a special meeting of the County Council to-day a resolution of the previous meeting, altering the boundaries and representation of the riding, was confirmed. In the meantime the Inch-Clutha is still covered with water. The settlers are .boating , their stock -to prevent death by starvation. Gangs: of men are adapting the bridge here for foot .passengers. . ?
