ALBURNIA.
Good progress is being made in the drive on Dixoh's lode, which varies eon* niderably in size. Colors of gold are seen occasionally. In the Whau level, west drive, the manager is proceeding with a ,wbrk which will be of great practical utility to the mine. It is the driving of the 75 feet between the drive and the: crosscut, and when this is finished close; on 1000 feet of trucking can be avoided.: The timbering of the Sons of Freedom pass is making good progress.
