AHAURA.
Saturday. The Ahaura and Grey Rivers were unusually high at midnight, but as far as yet ascertained, excepting a pontoon at the Ahaura Convent grounds; which broke -away,' no further damage was done. A number of passengers per Gilmer's coach are stuck up here, and likewise several waggoners. The weather is showery, and the rivers-are falling. •
Mr Shaw, the Eeefton Resident MagiS' trate, has been admitted to the New Zea land bar.
Friday. It has been raining heavily, accompanied by a strong wind, during the last twenty-four hours, with no appearance of breaking Up. The rivers are rising rapidly. ' Traffic is suspended, as a flood is expected.
