County Council THAMES COUNTY COUNCIL. VJOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that •*■ 1 at a Special Meeting of the said Council, held on WEDNESDAY, the j 25th day of September, 1878, the said i Council adopted the several resolutions • following:— I (a) That at, this Special Meeting the Coun- •„ cil of. the Thames County do 'adopt a ! resolution, that, the northern boundary of the Ohineinuri Riding, in the Thames County, bo altered from its present site, to that it shall Btart from the ocean on\ the East Coa?t, at a roint on the.proper right bank of the .Otahu Biter, and thence extend up the said bank to the head of the said riror, thence in a straight line to the head of the nearest source of the Hikutaia Biver, thence down the proper left bank of the said Hikutaia Biver to its junction with the Waihou Biver, thence in a line due west to the boundary line between the Thameß County aad the Waikato County. And, further, that the number 'ol Sidings in the said County be increased from n>e to six, by the creation of-a new Bidingjto be called the Totara Biding } and that such new Riding be now created, and that the site thereof shall be so much of the Hastings Biding, in the Baid County, as heretofore existing, as is drained by. the Kauaeranga River, and also so much of the said Ohinemuri Biding as heretofore existing, as will be takeu out of the | same Biding by the alteration of the ■"' boundary thereof hereinbefore mentioned.; aud that the boundary of the said Hastings Biding shall be so altered as to make it adjoin the Northern and Eastern boundaries of the said Totara Biding.
