Arrived : Lebu, ' from London, 130 days. She had fearful weather after rounding the Cape. A tremendous sea broke over the vessel, doing great damage. McKenzie, the captain, was washed under the windlass, and had his head split open, being killed. Two seaman were injured, and the third mate had Irs leg broken.
