PHŒNIX (TAIRUA).
I hear that a party has made the company an offer to purchase the battery and take the ground on tribute at a fair percentage, and also that there is a proba-bility-of the directors agreeing to this. There was some talk of removing the mill to the Thames some days' ago, but it appears that it would cost nearly as much as the battery is worth to. get it down.
