Yesterday the contractors fojjbptending the cross-cut to intersect the If3i*2 Van-, guard lode cut a small leader,.which the manager is of. opinion is a dropper from the expected lode, which may be oat at any time. In the operations on the No. 1 lode the manager is taking four feet of the lode on the hanging wall side.
