MOANATAIRI.
Yesterday the manager made a start at sinking the main.shaft for a new level. In (he tunnel level the reef is about three ',feet thick', and a trial lot of 20 tons has 'been put through for a poor yield of amalgam. The lode is now running about parallel with the course of the tunnel. .All speed is being made with the, rise from 80 feet level to connect winze from tunnel )erel.
