CURE.
The company have now exhausted their present block on Gilmour's leader proper, but are working on Morrison's near its junction with Gilmour's. The lode 1 at present is about the size of Gilmour's, but the country is tight. Gold is seen frequently in. the stone. There is not much stone on hand at present, and it will be some time before a crushing accumulates^Tfoe only other work the companyr is carryings on just now is driving on the hangingiw|ill fit No. 2 lode. Since my las(..report Jtwo new tribute sections have, been let, viz., to Newman and party and Davis and party. Newman's crowd have a block on the cross-lode between the Nos. 1 and 2 levels!. Davis' block ia on Gilmour's leader from the intermediate level down: to the Nbl '%- level.' They have broken but little quartz as yet, but as the leader is similar' in size - and general characteristics do that which already been profitably worked the tributers expect to make it pay well.- Ciilmour and party are still working on payable stuff and expect to start crushing next week. Hunter and party will also send a parcel to the mill in a day or two.
