• This day. : The total receipts from the Benevolent Institution Carnival up to last night were £1130.
At the quarterly meeting of the Kail: way Employees Benefit Society it was shown they had a credit balance of £711.
Mr Wilkinson,, of Hobarton, jam manufacturer, intends opening a branch at Akaroa or Nelson.
