MR GLADSTONE AT ETON.

, On. July 6 theßight Hon. W. E. Gladstone, . M.P., delivered ■a. lecture to the members and their friends of the "Eton College, Literary Society, in the boys' i library of the college. The library wad crowded, there being not only a large number of the coliege students present* but several ladies,; the provost, the, head master, and many assistant masters of the college,. Mr Gladstone, on entering'this library, was loudly cheered, add again on rising, after a brief introduction from the provost, to commence his lecture.
