WELLINGTON.
Monday.
Three engines and three carriages have been running all day. The. carriages were full each way. Over 1,200 people travelled on the tramway up to three o'clock. The horses shied a little occasionally, but no accident occurred.
The Governor will, it ia believed, go down,to Lyttelton by the Nymphe, 'to be present at the opening of the railway next week. ■■-'■' ■ ■ -'■-.■ , - v ■■■-•..■■■ "........
The Wellington Racing Club, to-night, removed the disqualification from Fishhook and rider, Deiritt; The programme of the next meeting will be published in a few days.
