ALBURNIA.
Retorting after the crushing of 114 tons at the Moanatairi battery took place; yesterday afternoon for the yield oM9lozs 18dwts gold. For. the, first part of the crushing the stuff crushed was rather poor, and did not average more, than au ounce per ton. Latterly, however, since the manager-started to open out the 1 new No. 3 winze, when a much better grade of stuff was coming to hand, the quarta has gone for a first-rate average., Crushing is to be commenced at the Herald the beginning of next week.
