ALBURNIA.

The crashing for this mine at the Moanatairi mill has been suspended, and will be resumed when the Herald mill commences. The crashing has been shaping satisfactorily lately, a much better grade of stuff coming to hand. The Sons of Freedom reef at the intermediate below JNo. 3 winze is looking firstrate, and yesterday lOOlbs of picked stone wat obtained. The lode in stopes and western face continues to look about the »ame as reported in my last. A ladder-way has been fixed up the winze from the Whau level to the newly started workings on Dixon's reef. The reef there continues to look well, and may be expected to increase in size upwards. Some more fair specimens were obtained from a breaking down this morning.
