Meihou.^ne, August 20.
Endeavors are being made by Government supporters to try. and finish the debate on the -Befoiai BiH on Thursday. The result is doubtful. Owing to the Assembly discussion the contracts and the Law Courts are the only expenditure authorised by Parliament, namely, one hundiel . and twenty thousand. The whole cofttracts accepted are two hundred and seventy-five thousand by the McCnlloagh Government. It is probable a Hoyal Commission will be appointed re the exhibition this week.
The Cbif f Inspector of Sheep in Tasmania waited upon Mr Berry to-day respecting alterations in the regulations for the importation of sheep. A similar application was made for Adelaide, but both were declined.
