The Kuraimi mill having ceased crushing for a few weeks, the manager will hot be able to finish the parcel now there for some time. In a day or two he intends to start crushing at Bull's battery. At the mine things are looking well. The Vanguard No. 1 reef maintains its usual size, and at present six feet of the hangingwall is being taken. Colors of gold are frequently seen in the stone, and the mineral indications are also considered favorable. The quartz is hard and blocky. The driving,of the cross-cut through good working country is in progress, and the manager expects that the No. 2 Vanguard lode will be to hand in the course of a fortnight.
Fletcher and party have finished a crushing of 8 tons at Bull's mill for the yield of 6ozs 19dwts gold.
