Scene: Queen street. Dr. Kilgour negotiating with Captain Fairchild for a cheap trip per Hinemoa. Captain Fairchild fighting shy.
Family Peculiabities : Jones (through the lather): " Strange I can never grow a good beard, and yet my grandfather had one three icet long." Hairdresser: " Can't account for it, Sir-Sunless you take after your grandmother."—Melbourne Punch.
