OAMARU.
This day. The body of the missing man Cunningham has been found on the bank of the Waitaki river, at a quarry near the Breakwater. A workman named Mathew Black, this morning, while working, a large stone weighing about two hundred-weight rolled down and struck him on the chest, inflicting fearful injuries. Death was almost instantaneous. He leaves a wife and family.
