In the course of a debate in the House of Commons yesterday, it was asßerted that another secret treaty had been made between England and Turkey regarding the Russian occupation. The Chancellor of the Exchequer gave an evasive reply.

The Government have given notice to the Australian Colonies that the present postal arrangements must cease at the end of the year.
The Agents-Gener,al protested at an interview with Sir M. Hicks Beach, and the question is now being considered by the Colonial Office, the Treasury and the postal authorities.
The City of London will confer the Freedom of the City on Earl Beaconsfield and the Marquia of Salisbury to-morrow.
A great ceremony is preparing. The Australian Cricketers are invited.
The debate in the Parliament was continued. Mr Lows made a vigorous attack on the Government. Lord John Manners defended.
