A telegram from Belgrade says that since the occupation of Ada Kaleh by the Austrians, which brings their left wing into communication with the tight of the Roumanian army at Verchivrova, the Servian lines at Kladowa and Birza Palanka have been strongly reinforced as a measure of precaution. The numbers of visitors to the Paris Exhibition continues to increase, and on June 3 more than 132,000 persons were admitted. M.Arnaud, commonly known as Arnaud de l'Ariege, and senator for that department, died on June 3 at Versailles in hu sixtieth year. He was one of the last surviving Liberal Catholics. - The Duchess of Edinburgh passed through Berlin on June 11 on her way to St. Petersburg. This journey i» stated to have been undertaken in consequence of a telegram despatched.some time ago, when the state of the Empress's health gave rise to apprehensions, which have since diminished, but are by no means removed. ■
A telegram from Bucharest states that the Russians have commenced a serious advance in Rpumania, and .the Government, fearing that a collision might occur, had ordered their troops to withdraw, although by this movement the Roumanian soldiers are practically cut off from communication with the capital.
