Crewe, first innings, 54. The bowling of the Australians, t^f as very effectire. Spofforth took ten wickets for 13 runs. Boyle, nine wickets for 25 runs. The second innings of the Australians closed for 102; second innings of Crewe 78; Spofforth and Boyle bowling again very effectively. The Australians won by a hundred rune.
