The Australian Cricketers.

London, July 17. The Australians play the Cambridge University on July 22. The fielding of the Australians in the Yorkshire match was loose. The Yorkshire team comprised Ulyett, Haggs, C. W. London, Rev. Caster, Batts, Lockwood, Boden, Armitage, Allru, Hill, and Waterough. The team which represented the Orleans Club in the match of July 5 and 6 comprised J. Thorton, I. D. Walker, Yardly, Webbe (two), Ackroyd, Broom, Barratt, Pooley, and Ulyett. Throughout there was a serious mistake in re-telegraphing the score to New Zealand. The chances of the colonies winning appea|ed worse than they really were. The Orleans lost eight wickets m their second 'onings, Fryer being top score for the Orleans with 51. The Orleans wanted 174, with two wickets to fall, to win. The averages telegraphed last week of the Australians were in Nottingham, Marylebone, Surrey, Yorkshire, Gentlemen, and Middlesex matches. The Telegraph says their publication caused much comment throughout England.
