The s.s. Zealandia, from Auckland on the 25th ult., with the Australian and New Zealand June mails for London, arrived at San Francisco on the 17th inst., a day in advance of the due time. A telegram from the Agent-General announces the sailing of the ship Bakaia for New Plymouth, with 260 immigrants ,for Wellington. She left on the Ist instant.

The out-going mail takes 57 nominations for immigrants. Tlio total nominations for the year were over 900. An attempt is being made here to float a tanning and leather company, with a capital of £20,C00. The Customs revenue for Dunedin last year shows an increase over ths- previous year of £10,311,; Lyttelton an increase on the year of £28,211; Auckland, an increase of £12,300; Wellington, £18,928 ; Invercargill and Bluff, £6,807; Napier, £1,133; Nelson, £597. Westport, Greymouth, and Hokitika show a decrease of £7,102, and other ports an increase of £4 919. The proportions of revenue contributed by the principal classes of imports are :-*-Spirits, £383,776; tobacco, cigars, snuff, £151,034; wine and beer, £64,995; tea, coffee, etc., £89,401; sugar, £131,539; goods by weight, £77,869; goods ad valorem £339,779; other duties, £4,437,
