Another deputation waited on the Ministers to-day re the site for a goods station. The Attorney - General cony plained that the merchants of Dunedin were humbugging the Gcprernn^enfe in reference to this matter, and said that when the two alternative plans were submitted to the Ghamber of Commerce no definite reply was .returned, He stated that the Government would not grant a station for each end of the town. Mr Macandrew said that the station .would be erected at tbe north end of Jetty street in. three months, or as eoou thereafter as possible. Mr Stout and Mr Macandrew leare for Wellington to-morrow.
