Fraser, Esq., E.M.) ; DEUNK AND INCAPABLE. t Annie Bannarth was charged with haring been drunk and incapable in Pollen street, last night. ; Defendant pleaded guilty, and was fined; 10s, and costs, with the usual alternative. ' Mis Worship cautioned defendant to be careful, as this was the second time she had been convicted within a month. Another' person was charged with the. same offence, but being on bail, his bail 1 was forfeited. - .' . ■ ALLEGED LABCENY. : James Burrell, on warrant, was charged; with stealing from Waitakururu, on or abont the 6th July, 1878, two pigs of the value of £1, the property of Hone Ng»huha. . Mr Bullen asked for a three days' remand, as the defendant had only been arrested half an hour previous. ; Remanded till Tuesday. Sail was allowed, one surety of £25 being required. CHIMNEY ON FIBE. Joseph Bryan pleaded guilty to a charge of permitting his-chimney to take fire, on the 18th inst., and was fined 10s, and costs. Court adjourned.
