GOLDEN CROWN.
The tributers, Lamb and party, have all hands at present, employed working from the shaft, to do which they require to keep the engine going. Several of the men are employed clearing out' some old workings, with the view to further prospecting, and the others are working on a ten feet lode they have risen to cnt. The reef has a very promising appearance, and shows gold. The block is not a very long one, but is suppced to be of considerable height, and it is expected it will pay well to take out. The tributers pay 30 per cent, for their block, so that any discovery by the tributers will greatly benefit the company.
