Your committee have the honor to report that on-, the 19th June they examined and passed vouchers for the following Sims :—For working on the Hastings road, £10319s; do. Eauaeranga and Waiotahi, £32 11s 6d; do. Ohinemuri main road, £501 5s 4d; do. Te Aroha Bbad, £6 19s 2d; do. a Katikati Edad, £189 3s 9d ; do. Hikurangi Gorge, £73 0s;; Kauaeranga Valley Roa<l, £40 : 7s; tJ.P.A. balance of May statement, £139 16s 2d ; Borough's share of Gold Duty to credit, £359 8s 7d ; office furniture, £2 2s; Karaka tramway repairs, £13 16s ; miscellaneous accounts, £21,0s lOd; total, £1483 14s 4d. At a meeting held on the 22nd June the following were examined Hnd passed:—Work on the Katikati road, £504.15s 9d; do. Hikurangi Gorge, £119 19s; do. Hastings to Waikawau, £4 4s; do. Hastings road, £56 2s 6d; Kauaeranga and Waiotahi Bidings, £194 6s 6d; Kauaeranga Valley road, £26 18s; Ohinemuri main road, £223195; Puke-Paeroa road, £7 4s; Miscellaneous accounts, £5 13s Id; Macdonald and Miller, £68 8s lid; U.P.A. wages, £226 Is ; do. survey of winding rope, £5 5s ; rent of chambers, £4 6s 8d; salaries, £74 Is 8d; wages to natives, £4 16s; total, £3199 14s 5d.-C.
