Mr Dargaville has sold out his timber rights over large tracts of country at Northern Wairoa to the Union Sash and Door Company for £25,000. He reserves to himself the freehold of eleren thousand acres and town property. He intends to cut up this into farm sections of two and three hundred acres.
The railway rates on coal and produce are to be lowered.
